PROGRAMS
SOAR’s CORE Program provides mobile, trauma-informed, and relationship-centered mentorship for adolescents navigating justice involvement, school disengagement, or life instability. CORE focuses on meeting youth where they are, building trust, and helping them discover healthy pathways through coaching,experiential activities, and connection to community.

Expectations & Safety Standards:
- Attendance: Regular attendance is expected. If a youth misses 3 sessions, a review will be scheduled.
- Communication: Coaches confirm sessions via phone/text 24-hours & 1-hour prior to scheduled time. No-call, no-shows may result in suspended services.
- Transportation: Provided for in-person sessions if arranged in advance.
- Safety: Youth must remain with their Coach during sessions. Staff may call for emergency services if safety concerns arise.
- Confidentiality: Personal information is protected except in cases of safety concerns (e.g., harm to self or others, abuse).

Program Activities:
- INDIVIDUAL ADOLESCENT COACHING: Youth work 1:1 with a Coach in their community, home, or school to:
- Set personal and academic goals
- Practice social-emotional skills
- Navigate tough life situations
- Build trust and find purpose
- Sessions may be in person or virtual depending on youth preference and goals.
2. EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES: Small group events focus on:
- Team building
- Communication and trust
- Healthy relationship skills
- Joy and self-discovery through play and challenge
- These events support growth in confidence, emotional awareness, and positive connection with peers.
